This Shinkansen connects Tokyo and Shinjō, operating coupled with the Yamabiko until Fukushima. It is a mini-Shinkansen that runs on conventional tracks and has all-reserved seating.

How to use

All seats are reserved. To ride the Shinkansen, you need a basic ticket and a limited express ticket according to the type of seat. Fares are divided into three periods: regular, peak, and off-peak.
