The Yamabiko is a medium-speed Shinkansen that runs between Tokyo and Sendai or Morioka, while the Nasuno is an all-stop service mainly operating between Tokyo and Koriyama. Both are convenient for commuting and sightseeing.

How to use

To ride the Shinkansen, you need a basic ticket and a limited express ticket according to the type of seat. Fares are divided into three periods: regular, peak, and off-peak. Tsubasa | Yamagata Shinkansen

This Shinkansen connects Tokyo and Shinjō, operating coupled with the Yamabiko until Fukushima. It is a mini-Shinkansen that runs on conventional tracks and has all-reserved seating.
