This Shinkansen line connects Tokyo and Niigata. The express service is called Toki, while the all-stop service is Tanigawa. It also offers convenient access to ski resorts like Echigo-Yuzawa and Gala Yuzawa.
How to use

Gran Class express ticket
This is the highest-class cabin, featuring spacious and luxurious seats. However, no dedicated attendant is on board, and light meals or beverages are not provided. As a result, the fare is lower than that of cabins with attendant service.
Limited Express Shirayuki
It is a limited express train running between Niigata and Naoetsu. The section on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway operates with only non-reserved seats.
