Hakutaka & Tsurugi | Hokuriku Shinkansen
This is a semi-fast service between Tokyo and Kanazawa/Tsuruga, with more stops than the Kagayaki. The Tsurugi does not offer Gran Class. On the Hakutaka, Gran Class seats are available, but there is no attendant and no onboard food or drink service.
How to use
To ride the Shinkansen, you need a basic ticket and a limited express ticket according to the type of seat. Fares are divided into three periods: regular, peak, and off-peak. During peak periods (such as Golden Week, Obon, and New Year), fares are higher, while off-peak fares are lower. The displayed fare is for the regular period.

This is a limited express ticket required to ride the Green Car. The seats are more spacious and comfortable than in the ordinary car, making it ideal for those who want a quiet environment or for business use.
Gran Class express ticket
This is the highest-class cabin, featuring spacious and luxurious seats. However, no dedicated attendant is on board, and light meals or beverages are not provided. As a result, the fare is lower than that of cabins with attendant service.
Limited Express Shirayuki
It is a limited express train running between Niigata and Naoetsu. The section on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway operates with only non-reserved seats.
